Launching at the 3if.be annual conference – iot-convention.be

Today, FactorySense was launched at the 3if.be annual conference in the presence of Flemish Minister for Innovations and Industry 4.0 in Flanders Philipp Muyters, Bertrand Schrevens, Managing Director of Kulapro and Ulrich Seldeslachts, Managing Director of FactorySense.

During the launch event, Mr Seldeslachts stressed the operational excellence and easy of installation and integration of the FactorySense platform.
Aimed at Small and Medium sized manufacturing companies, FactorySense bundles advisory, Industrial IoT sensors and a digital dashboard for companies with less than 10 employees and a traditional automation machine park, with or without any direct capabilities to digitize.

FactorySense will utilize its sensory equipment to digitize analogue processes, or build on top of the existing digitized equipment on the shop floor, in the warehouse or throughout any part of the production process in both discrete and process industries.

FactorySense showed the use case of the company Kulapro, active in wood processing and aiming to further expand its customer services by means of an improved insight in its production process and increase in efficiency.

Minister Muyters and Mr Schrevens joined in a panel session discussing some of the current challenges of small and medium sized manufacturing companies in not so obvious industries such as building and wood production to go digital. Mr Schrevens applauded the intervention of 3if.be and the solutions provided by FactorySense to support him enabling his organization turning digital.
